GlobalNet


GlobalNet is a network of research and development technology centers from around the world.  These centres are all engaged with The Boeing Company.  The centres meet annually to share lessons learned and organize multi-centre and international collaborations.  Many of these centres are based on the following model:

  • Centre is industry led, conducting industry defined projects in collaboration with university researchers and national research institutes,
  • Many centres have a central research and development capability
  • Industry members contribute financially to the operation and projects of the centre,
  • State governments provide significant funding support to promote collaboration and attract premier international members creating opportunities for local members.

The CCMRD is an active member of GlobalNet having participated in the 2009 and 2010 GlobalNet meetings.  GlobalNet includes the following world class technology research and development centres:
